Prestwick
House Announces International License Agreement With Princeton Review
Korea for Literature Study Guides and Teaching Material
Agreement is Prestwick House’s First International License Agreement
November 29, 2007 (Smyrna, DE) –
Prestwick House, Inc., Delaware’s leading educational publishing company, has
signed a license agreement with Princeton Review: Korea, a franchisee of
Princeton Review Incorporated.
The multi-year agreement includes licensing rights related to many of Prestwick
House’s best-selling materials, including Prestwick Teaching Units, Response
Journals, and Activity Packs, which have been used by tens of thousands of
teachers throughout the US.
Jason
Scott, Prestwick House’s Vice President, said, “We are excited to partner with
Princeton Review, which is a great international brand dedicated to helping students, parents, and educators achieve the best results
at every stage of their educational careers.
“We are pleased that Princeton Review Korea and its customers will now
benefit from the same high-quality teaching materials that American teachers
have come to depend on. This agreement signifies the value of our intellectual
property to anyone interested in teaching literature.”
This
licensing agreement allows Princeton Review Korea to repurpose many of
Prestwick House’s best-selling teacher-focused literature titles into books
designed for their students. The license agreement also will allow Princeton
Review Korea
access to teaching materials for over one hundred literary titles for the next
five years.
This
agreement is Prestwick House’s first international licensing agreement. “We’re
excited at the prospects of expanding our operations overseas,” says General
Manager, Keith Bergstrom. “This is the first step in increasing our presence to
a truly international company, and we’d love to discuss opportunities with
other companies overseas.”
