Of all the books on King Arthur, this one is at the top of my list because it's so thorough and entertaining. Despite a challenging vocabulary, the book can be enjoyed by most juniors and seniors. Although the book is 639 pages long, the reading moves swiftly, and the presentation is flawless. Students will appreciate the characters and the legend as a result of reading The Once and Future King.
