Free Lesson Plan: Analyzing Multiple Interpretations of Literature
Included in this lesson plan are various worksheets and engaging discussion questions to instruct your students on the ways in which literature can be interpreted. Your students will compare and contrast a chosen literary work and its adaptations and will discuss the effectiveness of each by examining elements such as plot, setting, theme, and mood. Reasons for any deviation from the original version of a literary work will be up to your students to infer, and they will ultimately use these inferences to decide which medium is most effective.
